Seventh Annual North Meets South Set to be Largest Yet, Supporting the Armenian American Museum
This Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend on Saturday, January 19, 2019, AGBU-YPNC is joining forces with other Armenian young professional (YP) groups of Southern California and the west for the seventh annual North Meets South mixer. The seventh installment is bringing the YP’s of the Southland, and once again Arizona and Houston together with Northern California YP’s at Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with likeminded Armenians from all over the west.
Continuing the tradition of bringing the collective YP groups together and raising funds for a cause, this year the organizations are proud to support the Armenian American Museum, which brings Armenian American history to the forefront in a state-of-the-art facility set to break ground in Glendale, California. For a third straight year, Golden Road Brewing has agreed to partner with the groups for the event and donate 15% of the group sales tab back to the charity.
North Meets South continues to grow each year and is a joint event between ANCA Professional Network, Armenian Youth Federation, Armenian Professional Society, AGBU-YP of Los Angeles, AGBU-YP Arizona, and AGBU-YP Houston along with AGBU-YP of Northern California.
North Meets South and Everyone In-Between
AGBU-YPNC is excited to bring the young professionals together in Fresno a night earlier on Friday, January 18, and in Sacramento a week later on Saturday, January 26 at events throughout California to get everyone ready for the 19th annual AGBU SF Winter Gala 2019, this February 15-17, 2019.
