For the first time during its history, AGBU AYA SFV-LA Scouts held a day-long family affair that focused on the skills they have learned and acquired during their scouting. With a full day of planned activities, Scouts Day 2019 required an “all-hands-on-deck” approach to make it a successful and fulfilling event.

Cheered on by family, friends, and their scouting brothers and sisters, the troops participated in many activities, including:

  • Laser Trip Wire
  • Make a Shelter
  • Kettle Tripod
  • Disability Awareness
  • First Aid
  • A-Frame Race
  • Orienteering
  • Three- and Four-Legged Race
  • Knot Tying
  • Pack Your Bag
  • Minefield

With so many competitive/timed events, the scouts relished the in-between-event moments by enjoying sweet treats and delicious street-style tacos.

We thank all our incredible leaders, yeretzes, vareeches, committed scouts, past and present committee members, and scout parents who dedicated their time and tireless effort on making our preliminary Scouts Day a success!
