The AGBU’s Summer Internship Programs are famous all around the world. There are currently six global Summer Internship Programs in New York, Yerevan, Paris, London, Buenos Aires, and Boston. The AGBU’s Western District launched its local Los Angeles Media Internship Program (LAMIP) in 2017.
The glamorous city of Los Angeles is the hub of the Media Industry. Since entertainment thrives in Hollywood and its neighboring cities, the AGBU Western District is excited to provide this unique opportunity to college students who are seeking an avenue to enter the extremely competitive Media Industry. Over the years, LAMIP has expanded its reach and partners with a myriad of reputable organizations across multiple industries.
LAMIP provides an enriching program that will challenge and teach our interns critical skills they can apply to their education and future endeavors; interns will cultivate the knowledge and experience necessary to succeed in their careers.
The program offers opportunities in various fields of the Media and Business sectors including Accounting, Communications, Fashion, Finance, Graphic Design, Journalism, Law, Marketing, Media & Film, Production, Public Relations, Set Design, and Tech/IT to name a few.
Interning in Los Angeles will allow students to expand their network and build a solid platform for their future career. Beyond the professional internships, the LAMIP interns will engage with other like-minded individuals and build strong bonds with their cohort, as well as the guest speakers and workshop facilitators they will meet weekly throughout the program.
We look forward to placing eager college students in these unique internships that will bolster their credentials and essentially set them apart when applying to full-time jobs.
